By rssfeeds-admin CHICAGO — A Gary man has been charged with murder following a deadly shooting on the Dan Ryan last summer.
Herman Yancy, 37, is facing a first-degree murder charge after Illinois State Police responded to northbound lanes of the Dan Ryan, near 37th Street, on the night of June 7, 2024.
Tywuan Donald, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
At some point during the investigation, Yancy was identified as a suspect.
He was arrested on Friday.
