Normally, the deadline to assess property in Arkansas is the last day of the current month, but this year, May 31 falls on a Saturday. For those failing to assess by May 30, there will be a 10% penalty as required by the state of Arkansas. For more information, contact the Baxter County Assessor’s Office at 870-425-3453.
