Deadline to assess personal, business property in Arkansas set for May 30

The deadline to assess personal and business property is coming up at the end of the month. This year, the assessment deadline in Arkansas is May 30.

Baxter County Assessor Jayme Nicholson says any property that requires a license will need to be assessed.

Normally, the deadline to assess property in Arkansas is the last day of the current month, but this year, May 31 falls on a Saturday. For those failing to assess by May 30, there will be a 10% penalty as required by the state of Arkansas. For more information, contact the Baxter County Assessor’s Office at 870-425-3453.
