The See’s Candies shop at 1238 El Camino Real in Sunnyvale will close on May 11, a manager at the location confirmed with KRON4 Friday. The closing store is a “volume savings shop,” according to the company’s website. The location specializes in bulk orders, business gifts and fundraisers.
“The See’s Candies chocolate shop in Sunnyvale, CA sells our American-made delicious candies and chocolates,” the See’s website reads. “It is the same shop you know and love — also specializing in bulk sales and fundraising. The best chocolate and candy in Sunnyvale can be found at See’s Candies where you always get a free sample and friendly customer service.”
KRON4 reached out to See’s corporate office for information about the closure but did not immediately receive a response. In 2023, See’s permanently closed its Embarcadero candy shop on Christmas Eve.
See’s is a privately owned company, which operates more than 200 shops across California, Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Oregon, Utah and Washington. See’s was founded in Los Angeles in 1921.
