Rep. Donald Norcross returns home after gallbladder infection

(WPHL) — New Jersey Democratic Congressman Donald Norcross has returned home after being discharged last week from Cooper Hospital following a gallbladder infection last month, according to a statement from his office.

Rep. Norcross has had a smooth recovery and is expected to continue outpatient rehabilitation. Norcross’s medical team will remove his gallbladder. According to his office, Rep. Norcross remains engaged with his staff, meetings in South Jersey, and on issues in Washington.

“It is good to be home. I owe a debt of immense gratitude to the incredible health professionals at Cooper Hospital who saved my life and have been instrumental in helping me recover so quickly,” said Congressman Donald Norcross. “I want to sincerely thank the incredible South Jersey community for the outpouring of prayers, cards, calls and well wishes. Be assured that I will continue to fight for our seniors, veterans and hard working families each and every day.”
