ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Harold Iverson, 70, for allegedly slapping a woman in the mouth, causing injury.
On May 7, around 10:47 a.m., authorities were called to the Faust Landmark Apartments on East State Street for reports of domestic battery. The woman told officers that an argument had started the incident.

Iverson proceeded to slap the victim, according to court records. The woman said she later went to sleep and woke up to the suspect threatening to kill her.
The woman had visible injuries, and her shirt was torn, officials reported.
Iverson is charged with aggravated battery of a victim over the age of 60, domestic battery causing bodily harm and criminal trespassing.
