Baxter County Sheriff discusses ruling on jail mail policy


Ahead of the Baxter County Quorum Court meeting tonight, which will seek to appropriate fees associated with the ruling against the jail’s mail policy, Sheriff John Montgomery spoke with KTLO News to discuss the past and the future of the policy.

After losing the trial, Baxter County is required to pay over $102,000. Sheriff Montgomery says a lot of this cost comes from lawyer fees.
