On April 8, officers were called to the 1200 block of North Horsman Street for reports of mob action against a woman. Police said the victim had visible injuries when they arrived to speak to her.
The woman told officials that earlier in the day, she had been in a fight with Imani Christian, 24, and Delaney Menge, 24.
Later, the victim was attacked by multiple people in her home, she claimed. As she attempted to put her children in her car, the mob pulled her and one of her kids out of the vehicle, court records show.
The child was held down while the group continued to attack the woman, according to the criminal complaint.
Police said the child and another witness corroborated the victim’s story.
Alleged attacker Imani Christian told police her car keys were missing after the initial fight, so she gathered ten people to fight the woman a second time, she admitted to police.
Of those ten, seven were arrested and charged with criminal offenses: Imani Christian, Amari Christian, 22, Amari Craig, Raymond Gray, 20, Yakisha Christian, 47, Karli Wright, 33, and Delaney Menge were all charged with two counts of endangerment of a child and mob action causing violence.
