By rssfeeds-admin WAGENER, S.C. (WJBF) — Some big changes are coming to fire protection in the Wagener area.
Town leaders say Monday, Town Council will vote on a 5-year lease with New Holland Fire Department to cover the town.
New Holland will insure equipment, and Wagener will only cover the building. Fire equipment will be transferred as payment, and an assessor will determine fire fee rates.
Neighboring fire stations will share trucks to improve the ISO ratings and coverage.
