WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On May 1, 2025, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office announced that three suspects have been arrested for a shooting that occurred at a residence on Wallace Dean Road in West Monroe, La.
During the investigation, authorities learned that the incident stemmed from a disagreement related to a prostitution arrangement. According to authorities, Braylen Newton of Lafayette, La., was pronounced deceased as a result of the shooting.
Investigators obtained arrest warrants, and the following suspects were arrested:
Wellestey Daniel Madurie, III of Florida
- Solicitation of Prostitution
Keton Dugas of Lafayette, La.
- Attempted Second-Degree Murder
- Second-Degree Murder
- Armed Robbery
- Armed Robbery with a Firearm
Brandi Michaela Frosch-Farr of Bellmead, Texas
- Attempted Second-Degree Murder
- Armed Robbery
- Criminal Conspiracy
