By rssfeeds-admin SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Posey Tube connecting Alameda and Oakland will temporarily close overnight Tuesday for electrical maintenance, according to Caltrans District 4. The tube which takes traffic under the Estuary will close at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
The closure will remain in effect until 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to officials. The tube will remain open during daylight hours for the rest of Tuesday and will be open as normal after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
“Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience as we perform this essential maintenance work,” Caltrans said in a statement.
