ST. GEORGE, Utah (
ABC4) — The second Dunkin’ location in Utah opened earlier this week and will hold a grand opening Saturday. It’s the first location in Southern Utah, uniquely combined with the popular ice cream chain Baskin-Robbins.
After every Dunkin’ location in Utah shut down several years ago, the franchise returned to Utah in August last year. The first location opened in West Jordan. This new Dunkin’ in St. George is the second location in the entire state.
Coffee fans in Southern Utah won’t want to miss the opportunity to receive free coffee for a year by showing up at the grand opening this Saturday, May 3. The first 100 customers in line at 9 a.m. will be the lucky recipients of this promotion.
“Free Coffee for a Year Giveaway recipients receive a coupon book containing 4 free medium hot or iced coffee coupons per month for 14 months, good only at the location where [the] coupon book was issued,” a release from Dunkin’ explained the promotion.
After the giveaway at 9 a.m., there will be a prize wheel giveaway, face painting, and live music from a DJ. Dunkin’s mascot, Cuppy, will also be there.
At 10 a.m., there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held by the franchisee, Shazad Sheikh. Festivities will continue until 11 a.m.
The new Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins location is located at 2557 S. River Road in St. George. It is open between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily.
