Man hospitalized following Downtown New Orleans shooting

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man has been hospitalized following a shooting that occurred in Downtown New Orleans in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 26.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting, which occurred in the 1000 block of Loyola Avenue, was reported around 2:10 a.m.

On scene, police say they found a man who had been shot at least once. The man was taken for treatment to a local hospital by New Orleans EMS.
