NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — One person has been hospitalized following a shooting that happened in the Seventh Ward neighborhood of New Orleans on Saturday afternoon, May 10.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers began investigating the shooting, which occurred in the 1400 block of North Claiborne Avenue, around 1:27 p.m.
On scene, an adult victim was found with at least one gunshot wound to the body, and was taken to a local hospital by New Orleans EMS.
