TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Two people have been arrested after a Tickfaw man died as the result of a fentanyl overdose on April 8.

According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, first responders responded to a home on John’s Drive in Tickfaw where a 29-year-old man was found unresponsive, and after life-saving efforts were attempted, ultimately died.

An autopsy showed that the man had died due to an overdose. An investigation followed, identifying Jordan Kenyatta “Clutch” Spears, of Hammond, as the person who allegedly sold the victim the drugs which proved fatal.
