2 arrested after over 300 pounds of methamphetamine found in Kings County farmhouse

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A farmhouse that doubled as a methlab led to the arrests of two men and the seizure of hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office said.

On Friday, deputies say search warrants were obtained for two farmhouses that were believed to be clandestine methamphetamine conversion labs.

After executing the warrants in the 3600 block of Road 36 in Tulare and the 8700 block of Jersey Avenue in Hanford, deputies say they found approximately 368 pounds of methamphetamine.

According to the sheriff’s office, 40-year-old Casimiro Baringas-Echavaria and 35-year-old Fernando Sanchez-Zamora, both of Sinaloa, Mexico, were located at the Hanford farmhouse and arrested on suspicion of multiple charges.
