Ahhh… springtime in Chicago.
A low pressure system out west on Monday will reach the Chicago area later this week with a rain/snow mix on Wednesday.
There is a “possibility of a little bit of accumulation as this system moves through,” WGN meteorologist Alyssa Donovan said on Monday’s WGN Midday News. Forecast models show the snowfall early in the day, with mostly rain in the afternoon hours.
Whatever does fall and accumulate won’t stick around long, but the usual concerns of slick roadways and reduced visibility remain.
Temperatures will increase beginning Thursday and in the days that follow to more normal and above-normal levels.
