Crescent City Classic to return to New Orleans for 2025
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The annual Crescent City Classic is racing back to New Orleans this Easter weekend.

Organizers said runners and walkers alike will make their way to the city on Saturday, April 19, at 8 a.m. to participate in the 10-kilometer race that has been an Easter weekend tradition in New Orleans for more than 40 years.

The LCMC Health Crescent City Classic’s 6.2-mile route is set to begin at the Superdome, head downtown to the French Quarter, up Esplanade Avenue and end in front of the New Orleans Museum of Art in City Park.

Organizers said after the race, participants can look forward to the Michelob Ultra RaceFest with drinks, food and live music in City Park.

Registration is open through April 18, and there is no day of registration.

Race organizers said all participants will get a t-shirt, medal and race bib.

Additionally, a health and fitness expo will be held at the Hyatt Regency on the Thursday and Friday before the race.
