CHICAGO (WGN) — Chicago police say a group of people battered and robbed a CTA Red Line passenger. The department now seeks help in identifying the suspects.
According to police, at around 12:35 a.m., the 23-year-old man was riding a northbound train in the 0-100 block of W. 78th St. when a group of four males and three females approached.
Police add that the group attacked the victim, cutting his hand with a sharp object before taking his belongings.
