By rssfeeds-admin The offense started in the bottom of the first inning when Kendall Haworth hit one to the infield, Dragons getting the out at one but allowing a runner to score at home starting the game up 1-0.
Shortly after, Laynie Richardson sent one deep to left, getting a runner home and putting her on third for an RBI triple and a 2-0 lead. After that, Gracie Cherry hit a short one over towards first, called out there but brought another run in making it 3-0 going into the second inning.
In the second inning, an overthrown ball to stop a steal at second allowed a Lady Panther to make it in, followed by a Presley Payne RBI single to make it 5-0.
Jump to the bottom of the third where Kaylyn Hamilton blasted one over the left field wall, bringing in a runner with her as she cleared the bases for a two-run homer, bumping the Lady Panthers up to a 7-0 advantage.
The Lady Panthers went on to tack on four more runs, ending the Lady Dragon’s night early.
Fouke will play next on Thursday, April 3 at Nashville. First pitch is scheduled for 5 pm.
