FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two men were injured in an early morning shooting Sunday, Fresno Police say.

Just after midnight, Traffic Officers near Blackstone and Bullard heard a disturbance coming from the area near Switch Lounge and Nightclub.

Officers say that dispatch began receiving calls of a shooting in the parking lot of the business at the same time.

When they arrived witnesses pointed out a suspect who was running through the parking lot towards Blackstone Avenue. Officers were able to catch up to him and found him to be suffering from a gunshot wound.

The department’s Felony Assault Detectives were called out to investigate.

Police say they believe there were two gunmen, who were possibly shooting at each other.

About a half-hour later detectives learned that an additional victim showed up at an area hospital who had been shot.

Both men are listed in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone who may have information on this incident to please call the department’s non-emergency dispatch line at 559-621-7000.
