By rssfeeds-admin According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Sammi Clark of Madison has been arrested and preliminarily charged with Battery on a Person less than 14 years old.
JCSO said the investigation began on Feb. 28 when the Madison Consolidated School District received a report indicating that a possible battery had occurred at Ryker’s Ridge Elementary School. As part of their investigation, detectives spoke with alleged victims, witnesses and school administrators.
JCSO said Clark was arrested on March 25 and transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where she faces six counts of battery on a person less than 14 years old.
According to online court records, Clark is scheduled to appear in Jefferson Superior Court on April 7 for an initial hearing.
