Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office honoring crime victims with walk through Shreveport

CADDO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office invites the community to a Walk With a Purpose dedicated to survivors of violent crimes and their families.

The walk is in observance of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, which runs from April 6 to April 12, 2025.

“Walk With Purpose reflects CPSO’s continued commitment to standing in solidarity with crime victims, fostering a stronger community, and advocating for the rights and voices of survivors,” a press release stated.

The walk will be held on Monday, April 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Shreveport. It will start on Texas Street and Marshall Street in front of the Caddo Parish Clerk of Court.
