Caddo Parish District Attorney to connect crime victims with resources and support

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s office is hosting an outreach event to mark National Crime Victims’ Right Week.

District Attorney James Stewart Sr. is teaming up with the Caddo-Bossier Domestic Violence Task Force to connect crime victims and survivors with needed resources, services, and support. The theme for this event is “Kinship Connection and Healing.” Participants will be able to meet with representatives from various organizations and agencies offering help.

Staff from the Louisiana Board of Pardons, the Committee of Parole, and representatives from the DA’s Victim’s Assistance Program will be on hand to answer any general questions and provide information.

This event will be held on Thursday, April 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the North Louisiana Crime Lab.
