This year, APM is having a Bad Bunny album contest, asking creators, artists and musicians to put their own spin on Bad Bunny’s album and what it means to them. The album, titled “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos” is essentially a love letter to the culture and identity of Puerto Rico. Translating to “I should have taken more photos”, the album explores Puerto Rico’s past, present, and future.
President of APM, Nilda Ruiz joined us in the PHL17 studio to tell us all about the upcoming festival and contest.
“We started the Sugar Cane festival a few years ago because I thought it would be a fun way to bring the culture and also bring resources to the community, which is the real reason we’re doing it,” says Ruiz.
