Aurora gearing up for the 53rd Puerto Rican Heritage Festival

AURORA, Ill. — Aurora is getting ready to celebrate Puerto Rican Heritage Week with a lineup of community events.

Next weekend, the Aurora Puerto Rican Cultural Council Community is hosting the 53rd Heritage Festival.

The big festival will feature music, food, and fun for the whole family.

On Saturday morning, Dyani Torres, Miss Puerto Rico of Aurora for 2025 and Amina Malone, Little Miss Puerto Rico of Aurora 2025, joined WGN News to discuss the upcoming event.
