Shooting at Shreveport Discount Lube leaves man injured

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreveport Police are investigating a shooting that has left one man injured.

The incident took place on Monday, March 24, around 2:55 p.m. According to the police, two men were visiting Discount Lube in the 1800 block of Nelson when the shooting occurred. Authorities reported that a dispute ensued before an employee shot one of the customers twice. The victim reportedly became irate with the employee before being shot. Police say they know the man who shot the customer and are investigating to find out exactly what happened.

The victim was taken to the Shreveport Central Fire Station by his friend and then transported to Ochsner’s Medical Center. One of his injuries is in his leg, while the other is unknown. The victim’s condition is also unknown at this time.
