Man critically injured in shooting, suspect detained by police

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A dispute turned violent after a man was shot multiple times, leaving him with life-threatening injuries.

According to Cpl. Chris Bordelon, the men involved knew each other and had a dispute before one of the men allegedly shot the other. The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was shot multiple times and is currently in critical condition. The alleged shooter was taken into police custody.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on the 3800 block of Greenway Place in Shreveport. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
