Woman killed in Shreveport shooting, police investigating

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — One woman is dead after a shooting in Shreveport.

The incident happened on Sunday, November 2, around 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway. According to the Shreveport Police Department, a man and a woman were sitting inside a vehicle at the intersection when they were hit by gunfire.

Both victims were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The female victim unfortunately passed away, but there is no update on the condition of the male victim.
