By rssfeeds-admin According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 5 a.m., officers were called to the 300 block of North Arsenal Avenue on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene, according to police.
Per a police report, the victim was identified as Andre Dwayne Canady Jr. of Indianapolis.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident. A person of interest was detained on scene, according to police.
No additional information was released.
