NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The regional Transit Authority is offering voters free rides to the polls on election day.
All buses, streetcars and ferries will be free for all residents on Saturday, Marsh 29.
RTA officials say this will make it easier for residents to reach their polling places and participate in the democratic process. No voter registration proof is needed.
