By rssfeeds-admin DESOTO PARISH, La. (KTAL/KMSS) —DeSoto Parish Police Jury and the fire districts in the area have issued a state-wide burn ban effective immediately.
On March 19, DeSoto Parish administration Michael Norton issued the burn ban for the parish.
According to KTAL/KMSS weather alerts, DeSoto Parish is under a wind advisory until 1- p.m. this evening. West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
