Bridal wars: Central Louisiana’s ultimate bridal competition

ALEXANDRIA, La. (WNTZ) — Brides-to-be and their squads are in for a high-energy, unforgettable experience as Bridal Wars makes its way to Central Louisiana this spring. Set against the charming backdrop of Bayou Haven in Alexandria, this one-of-a-kind event will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Time flies at Bridal Wars, where the traditional bridal show is transformed into an action-packed competition with the excitement of a bachelorette-style party. Teams will go head-to-head in an array of exciting challenges, from lip sync battles and bra pong to cupcake-eating contests and balloon-popping showdowns. With each challenge, participants will have the opportunity to win incredible prizes, earn bragging rights, and create lasting memories ahead of the big day.

“This isn’t your typical bridal event,” said event organizer Heather Nunez. “It’s a chance for brides and their wedding parties to let loose, enjoy a little friendly competition, and celebrate together in a fun and interactive way.”
