“Twin crashes” at the Twin Bridges backs up traffic

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Traffic is delayed as authorities are responding to two different accidents at the Twin Bridges near Ellis Park.

Dispatch says both of the calls came in as accidents with unknown injuries at 3:38 p.m. and 3:40 p.m..

Authorities on scene tell us the first accident (pictured below) involved a single-vehicle running off the roadway and striking a guardrail. We’re told the other accident involved a car getting rear-ended after braking quickly on the southbound lane.

We’re told no injuries have been reported and traffic was moving freely by 4:30 p.m..
