St. Bridget Catholic School closed Wednesday due to kitchen fire

LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — St. Bridget Catholic School will be closed Wednesday after a fire on Tuesday night.

Loves Park firefighters were called to the Clifford Avenue school around 8 p.m. for a fire in the cafeteria.

The school said the fire was put out quickly but due to the lingering smell of smoke in the building, classes are canceled for the day.
