‘Bleed for Weed’ event in Freeport will trade blood donations for cannabis

FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — The Rock River Valley Blood Center and Lyfe Dispensary are teaming up to offer vouchers for cannabis products in exchange for a blood donation this Saturday.

The blood drive will take place on Saturday, March 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Grand River Hall, located at 101 S Liberty Ave #1, in Freeport.

Donors will receive a voucher for 1/8 of “flower or an edible product” available at Lyfe Dispensary, located at 6774 Troy Drive, in Rockford.
