The McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance joins us to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Nothing says St. Patrick’s Day like Irish dancing!

The McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance joined us in the PHL17 studio to show us how it’s done.

Recently celebrating 25 years at McDade Cara, instructor Annmarie Murray Sheehan says ” My favorite memories are with my own kids dancing. I have four of my own children that dance, so we got to do a lot of things together that maybe we wouldn’t have gotten to do otherwise. Dancing brought us around the world together.”

On their website, they say “At the McDade-Cara School, we are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the rich tradition of Irish step and figure dancing.  We also firmly believe that instruction in step dancing develops the overall physical abilities of our children and strengthens their self-esteem as they master the progression of dance steps. Above all, it is our hope to provide an atmosphere where girls and boys can have fun and build relationships that will last a lifetime.”

Watch to see their performance.
