IMPD: Motorcyclist struck on near southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS — A motorcyclist was struck by an SUV on Indianapolis’s near southeast side Thursday evening, police confirmed.

The Indianapolis Metro Police Department said officers were called around 6:43 p.m. to the area of E. Raymond Street and S State Avenue. When police arrived, they found a motorcyclist in critical condition, who had reportedly collided with an SUV.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, IMPD said.
