Motorcyclist hospitalized after hit-and-run on Leesburg Pike in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County police are searching for an SUV that possibly struck a motorcyclist on Leesburg Pike Thursday night.

Details are limited; however, in a post on X around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 9, the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said officers were on the scene of a hit-and-run after a man riding a motorcycle was hit.

Police said the crash happened on Leesburg Pike and Patrick Henry Drive in Seven Corners.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Fairfax County police believe that the driver fled the scene in a darked colored SUV, and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the crash should call 911.
