
GLOUCESTER COUNTY, N.J. (WPHL) — The Scotland Run Wildfire in Franklin Township, Gloucester County, has been 100% contained.
According to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service, the fire was originally spotted around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Blue Anchor Fire Tower. It was burning near Pennsylvania and Proposed Avenues.
The fire grew to 191 acres before reaching 100% containment. The NJ Forest Fire Service says when the fire first started, 60 structures were threatened, but none were evacuated.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Crews remain on the scene.
