The lab is used to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions, more specifically testing the flow of arteries and monitoring heart health.
Staff explained it is equipped with state-of-the-art technology that aids them in providing better care for their patients.
“Cases are able to be done quicker. So it’s better [for] patient recovery,” said Vice President of OSF Saint Anthony Sue Fischer. “They’re not on the tables so long, because of all the technology that we have in this room now.”
Staff held a blessing for the lab after nearly two years of the long-awaited renovation.
