KISS’ Gene Simmons wants YOU to be his roadie on Rockford tour stop, for $12K

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Gene Simmons, formerly of the rock band KISS, is giving fans the opportunity to be a roadie and appear on-stage alongside the legendary rocker during a tour stop at Hard Rock Live in Rockford in May.

The opportunity costs $12,495.

According to the rocker’s website, the experience gets one lucky fan the following “Ultimate Gene Simmons Experince,” which includes:

• YOU will meet up with Gene and GS band members early in the day (either at his hotel or designated location) to go over the Band’s Show day schedule.
• YOU will be on the GS Band Team Crew for the entire day!
• YOU will get a GSB Crew member Shirt & Hat
• YOU will get a GSB Crew member VIP Laminate
• YOU will have a meal with Gene Simmons (at the hotel or Backstage at the show)
• YOU will arrive & load-in to the venue with the Band
• YOU will help the band set up for the show
• YOU will hang out backstage
• YOU will sit in on Sound Check
• GENE SIMMONS will bring you on stage during the show and introduce you!
• YOU will get a Set List Signed by Gene Simmons
• YOU can take photos throughout your entire experience!

The Gene Simmons Band will take the stage on Sunday, May 18th at 7 p.m.

The band consists of Simmons, Brent Woods (Wildside, Sebastian Bach, Vince Neil), Zach Throne (Corey Taylor), and Brian Tichy (Lynch Mob, Whitesnake, Billy Idol).

“We get a chance to play songs KISS has never played and some songs have never been recorded. So it’s a very exciting event,” Simmons told Bass Magazine of the concert tour.

KISS held the final two concerts of its “End of the Road” tour in Madison Square Garden in New York City in December of 2023.
