UPLAND, Pa. (WPHL) — Crozer Health employees are asking for a permanent solution after a temporary fix will keep two Delaware County hospitals open.
Demonstrators were outside of Crozer Medical Center on Tuesday and urged government officials to formulate a long-term solution.
The Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses & Allied Professionals says it is protesting because the current plan only gives employees two weeks until the hospitals close. The union also wants Prospect Medical Holdings to be held accountable for their actions.
PHL17 has previously reached out to Prospect Medical Holdings for comment, but the company has not responded.
