Capitol police investigate after 1 shot on Winter Street
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Capitol police are investigating after a person was shot early Wednesday morning.
The shooting happened on Winter Street in Jackson around 2:00 a.m. on March 12.
Bailey Martin, press secretary for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), said officers located an individual suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
