CHICAGO — Several businesses at a shopping plaza were targeted in smash-and-grab robberies early Tuesday morning on the city’s Northwest Side.
It happened around 4 a.m. on the 4700 block of West Foster Avenue.
Police said a group of people broke the front glass doors and windows of multiple business at and removed cash registers from the establishments.
The offenders then entered a red SUV and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
No one in custody at this time. Area Five detectives are investigating.
