Suspect arrested in Freeport for trafficking methamphetamine and cannabis

FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — A Freeport felon, suspected of trafficking methamphetamine and cannabis, has been arrested in a drug investigation.

According to Freeport Police, Rickie Raisbeck, 44 was arrested Friday after police executed a search warrant in the 100 block of N. West Avenue around 4:35 p.m.

Investigators said 56 grams of methamphetamine, 98 grams of cannabis, and a loaded semi-automatic pistol were found at the scene.

Raisbeck faces charges of Possession with the Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, felony Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cannabis, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.

He was booked into the Stephenson County Jail and held pending the outcome of a pretrial detention hearing.
