Prarie Food Co-op in Lombard making final push for investors, owners and funds

LOMBARD, Ill. — A co-op grocery store in Lombard is gearing up for the next chapter in its story.

For the better part of a dozen years, Jerry Nash and Leslee Keri have been part of a team working to bring Prairie Foods from concept to co-op reality. It is the first ever for DuPage County.

But to open their doors the way they want they’re making one final push for investors, owners and funds.

Jerry and Leslee joined WGN News on Saturday morning to discuss the journey.
