‘Windy Gras’ as Covington rolls three parades before 11 a.m.

COVINGTON, La. (WGNO) — On Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras rolls through the middle of Covington.

Here comes the Krewe of Bogue Falaya.

After that, the Lions Club.

And right after, the Mystic Krewe of Covington,

Like a film festival on parade, this year’s theme is “Movies in Paradise.”

WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is watching the parades and here to tell you all about them.

With 600 members and marching bands, the Krewe of Bogue Falaya was a hit with crowds in the middle of Covington.

Because of Tuesday’s windy weather, all three parades rolled before 11 a.m.
