Man shot, killed on Indy’s north side

INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is underway after a man was shot and killed on Indy’s north side Sunday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just before 2 a.m., officers were called to the 900 block of Lake Nora Court on the report of a possible disturbance. While officers were en route, they received another call claiming someone had been shot.

When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased, according to police.

Investigators say they have a person of interest in custody. No additional information was released.
