
Volunteers assisted the Food Bank by bagging fresh fruit for distribution and packing meals for the BackPack Program, which provides meals for children.
“Cleco’s Done in a Day program connects employees with organizations and helps us make our communities stronger,” said Colie Plaster, communications representative at Cleco and Done in a Day program coordinator.
“We are so grateful to have the team of volunteers from Cleco at the Food Bank,” said Linda Hutson, Director of Development and Community Relations at the Food Bank of Central Louisiana, “Volunteers play a critical role in our operations. Those helping to sort and package food have a direct impact on families facing hunger.”
