
On Tuesday, Ohio County Sheriff Adam Wright confirmed that Aaron Crowe, 23, will be charged with the murder of 81-year-old Norma June Greenwell. Records show Crowe was booked on additional charges, including burglary and tampering with physical evidence.
Officers Norma June Greenwell was found dead in her own home in the 200 block of Nineteen School Road on February 5. On February 6, Crowe was booked into the Ohio County Jail on charges of contempt of court and non-payment of court costs.
According to her obituary, Norma June Greenwell was a great-grandmother, an Avon representative, church member and worked with various 4-H groups.
Local, state and federal authorities were investigating the incident as a home invasion gone wrong.
